It all started with love for lighting
LET'S TAKE A LOOK BACK
Hold on a moment, we're just quickly pushing the office chairs aside because in 2025, we need space to celebrate. And not just in our offices. In all Wever & Ducé showrooms and warehouses, this year it's: Time to Party! After all, you only turn 40 once, and we want everyone who loves Belgian design to be part of it. So, start practicing some new dance moves and get ready for amazing events, breathtaking new collections, and beautifully designed classics. Meanwhile, we’ll keep decorating.

AND MORE ABOUT US
"Let's start a startup." This is how Wever & Ducré's story would begin today. But when Frank Deceuninck decided in 1985 to launch his own lighting collection, the term had not even been invented yet. What did exist was his love for extraordinary design, with which he wanted to conquer the world from Roeselare.
Just our type of colour
OUR FAVOURITE SHADES THROUGH THE YEARS
At Wever & Ducré, we don’t just think in shapes and light – we also think in colour. Every year, a fresh set of trend colours sets the tone in design, guided by the Pantone trend colours of the year. These shades don't just influence interiors, fashion and objects, but help shape the visual language that surrounds our products.
Discover the colours that shaped the look and feel of our Belgian lighting brand over the past decades. Because good design starts with the right atmosphere - and colour is where it begins.

IT'S A WAY OF THINKING
What does Wever & Ducré stand for? No, it’s not the name of someone important – it’s what makes us us. Five Dutch words that reflect our values and heritage: Hard work (WERklust), trust (VERtrouwen), enthusiasm (ENthousiasm), courage (DUrf) and a good dose of creativity (CREativiteit).
