we care about
the planet

renewable energies

It's not just on the beach that we love wind and sun. Sustainable energy sources are also indispensable in our buildings. They will help to further reduce our CO2 emissions in the coming years.

SOLAR Energy

WATCH THE SUN RISE

How long do you think it takes to grow 1351 trees? Well, it's quite a while. That's why we chose 360 solar panels instead. They saved us a pretty similiar amount of CO2 since installation. In the coming years, we would therefore like to further expand the use of alternative forms of energy. And to cover more and more of the energy needs of our warehouse through the power of the sun and geothermical sources. A real labour of love to which we gladly devote all our energy.

WIND Energy

LISTEN THE WIND BLOW

Anyone who has ever gone to our operational site knows that you just have to follow the four big windmills. You can see them from far away in Kortrijk. It makes us really proud to host them and it reminds us of the importance of taking care of our planet's future every day. It also generates clean energy, completely CO2-free.

E-MOBILITY

TIME FOR A CHANGE

"You just need to recharge your battery more often." This phrase is becoming increasingly common in our coffee kitchen. But not because we're all so ready for a holiday, but because there are almost only e-cars in our car park. And of course the colleagues are already discussing the matter. After all, battery-powered cars are a real boon for the environment and actively help further reduce road traffic's CO2 footprint. That's why, in addition to charging stations for our employees, we also offer publicly accessible charging facilities that are powered by our own solar panels.

Bee meadow

HUG MORE TREES AND SAVE THE BEES

Shhh… can you hear something humming? Yep. It's our hive’s residents which we adopted together with our neighbours. They are just exploring their new flower meadow. That should take a while as it's 1,400 m2. Why do we go to so much trouble for these little animals? Because we just love sweet honey. And because we want to help maintain our planet's biodiversity. After all, insects pollinate over 75% of all food crops – an incredibly important contribution to our society. That's why our motto remains "Let's bee careful."
