In entrance zones like hallways, the focus is not only on the lighting of the accessible areas. What’s even more important: The arrangement and right lighting variations of wall lights that shapes our spatial perception and orientation. That’s why wall luminaries should always be evenly distributed and placed at eye level (1,65 m is ideal). This avoids top or bottom view and a too dazzling light.
